DID YOU KNOW? An American History class for the general population of CHS students starts in 1865. According to this criterion those students will never learn about the Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, General Lee nor General Grant. They will not even learn that we have a Constitution, much less the respect for it. (see page 33)
DO YOU CARE? Based on this year’s budget (FY2023) ($25,337.00/student) we will spend over $329,000.00 per student in 13 years (K-12). CHS graduates 83.8% of its students, 45% cannot read and write and 56% cannot do math at grade level.
THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE! (These numbers are based on a requested report from the PCSD6 Business Office and the district’s own Report Card.)
